who watches over it
In Germany it is GEMA (Society for Electromechanical Performance Rights). Anyone who has ever organized or hosted a music event knows that GEMA charges a not inconsiderable sum for the music performance in front of a public audience. This fee also applies to the production of music cassettes. Since the production costs for a single music cassette would run into the hundreds of marks, we prefer not to send DEMO cassettes. Anyone who wants to get an idea of our musical qualities is welcome to listen to the performance at a public event. You can also listen to the music at home. However, an appointment must be made for this.
